After 2 weeks it's time to say goodbye...
Parents, brothers and sisters, teachers. They were all there to say goodbye to our French friends. It was a busy time with a lot of interesting projects. Even with an item in the local newspaper (last thursday)!

Racing Go-Karts.

After the skating lessons this afternoon, a large group of H3e and the french class went racing with go-karts. This program was completely organised by the students themself, school had nothing to do with this. Yet it turned out to be a wonderfull event.

We had to wait pretty long before we could race and some were very tired from skating.

And then, there were french fries with mayonaise.

After a short (but for racing really important) briefing, we could put on our racing clothes and helmets.

Finally we went out to set fast laps, crash into the boarding or eachother and have lots of fun. We should do this every week!

And the winner is:

today a boring day!
The Dutch pupils have lessons, and the French pupils went in to the city.
in the afternoon there was 'talendorp'. They try to make a village with different languages:
German, English and French. The French people have helped. The Dutch people have done nothing.

Building boats.

This afternoon all studens must finish their boats. At 2 pm. we all have to leave for the park and put the boats into the water of a lake. The big question is wether the boats will float or sink.

The last group went to the swimmingpool for scubadiving. First we had to cycle 45 minutes to Scharlakenhof in Haren. The divingschool prepared the divingstuff so it was our party to jump into the water. No fear, a little bit exciting and a lot of fun!

After one hour diving Jonne showed how to use the "schippersslag" to climb...
