Toen ik om 17.00 bij school aankwam, stond iedereen al te wachten. Om 5 over half 5 was er een telefoontje geweest dat onze Franse gasten bij Heerenveen waren en dat ze nog een half uurtje nodig hadden. Ik stond er nog maaar nauwelijks toen ik een luid gegil hoorde en daar kwam de bus al het spoor over gereden. Ze waren dus fijn op tijd. Gauw werden koffers in de auto getild en ging het op huis aan. Spannend voor de Franse "Maatjes". Hoe het allemaal gegaan is zullen we morgen wel horen bij het ontbijt. Dan zullen we ook de verjaardag van Matthias gaan vieren!!

When I arrived at school at 17 p.m., everybody was already waiting. At 25 tot 5 I received a phonecall saying that our French guests were near Heerenveen and that they needed still a half hour. I was hardly there when I heared a loud screaming and there they were at the railroadcrossing!!. Everybody put their trunks in the cars and off they were to the homes of the families. It will be exciting for the French pupils. How it all went back at the homes we will hear tomorrow at breakfast in school. Then we will also celebrate the birthday of Matthias. for now: bonne nuit!
